Susan got married to the love of her life but her husband told her she shouldn't work anymore. she
complained to her parents and her husband's parents but they told her to just obey because he was providing everything she needed. It became worse when a project made them relocate to a remote village, the people who live in that village don't allow male doctors or nurses attend to their wives or daughters. Susan watched how so many ladies died and she knew she could do something about it. there was a female nurse in that village but she was always unavailable. she couldn't take it anymore so she went ahead to work in the hospital and her husband made her choose between her marriage and her career. Susan chose her career because she couldn't live with the fact that lots of ladies were dying when she could be of help and her husband told everyone who cared to listen that his wife was rebellious. The question is, what would you have done in susan's situation? why do men tell their wives not to work?
