Do you think spending a fortune on material things or wasting time trying to please them will make you keep up with the group? my dear, the moment you are not able to boost their ego, you are out! it
could be in friendship, where you have to keep getting the trending stuff just to appear cool in the clique even if you dont have the means or it could apply to a relationship where either parties tell you how you should appear, talk or act just to make him or her pleased (i mean they wont be satisfied with the way you are) and then you compromise. Any friendship or relationship that will make you fake is a counterfeit 'ship'. Be real, enjoy the company of real people.
Esther wanted to belong to the most popular clique in school. for her to achieve her goal she had to look trending she went out of her means to get those looks but one day when she was done with school, she decided to take inventory of all she had and discovered she wasted her time, money and effort in the wrong things.
